We fell in love with Victoria-by-the-Sea on our first visit here from our then home in Charlottetown. On the way out of the village, we saw a beautiful old church with a for sale sign on it. We knew that day it would be part of our future.
Since then we have lovingly transformed the once faded gem into The Grand Victorian Wedding & Events Venue. Here we host couples and guests from around the world for weddings that range from the simple and timeless to grand and elaborate.

Our goal is for you to feel special the second you walk through the doors of The Grand Victorian. We want to create a stress-free day by working alongside you through the planning process to ensure your vision is realized. You can choose simply rent our venue for your ceremony and reception, handling the planning yourself. Or you may choose for us to plan your wedding, we will take care of everything and see your vision through to the finest detail. We are skilled at providing exceptional customer service, focused on creating a truly memorable experience for you and your guests.

The Grand Victorian PEI has been lovingly restored and adorned with décor that evokes a feeling of pure romance. Soft colours, chandeliers, and classic elegant touches will surround you and your guests in this 141-year-old historic venue.
Porch & Foyer
As you arrive, you and your guests will enter through the front covered porch. Most couples find this a beautiful location for photos and a relaxing retreat for guests between the ceremony and reception.
Our front foyer is decorated with antiques and a plush velvet loveseat. It is another favorite space for photos among couples and photographers.
Upstairs
Up the elegant staircase you will find the 3-room Balcony Suite, created to make getting ready for your wedding both beautiful and comfortable. Off the main dressing room is an oversize 4-piece bathroom and a spacious queen bedroom, where natural light streams in from windows overlooking the Victoria countryside.
Main Level
On the main level of our venue is the Ballroom, Bar and Lounge Seating Area. Indoor ceremonies, dinners and receptions take place in our Ballroom where up to 60 guests can be comfortably accommodated. Our fully stocked Bar will be delighted to serve your guest refreshments during cocktail hour and reception.
Outdoors
Outdoor weddings take place right here on our expansive property where your guests will enjoy views of Victoria countryside from our manicured grounds.
Couples and guests enjoy our covered verandah off the back of our venue where an outdoor bar can be set up during cocktail hour, if you so choose. Lawn games or a stroll through our quaint seaside village are popular ways to pass time between the ceremony and reception while you have your photos taken!
